Born in November/December, Joseph was born into quite a busy family. Both his parents were workaholics, but at the time of his birth, his father was higher up in his career, having more spare time to spend with his son. Inevitably, he grew more close to his father than his mother. As a child, he didn't really have an idea of what he wanted to be when he grew up, so spent no time skill building. At school, he was rather reclusive, and did not bother to make any friends. It was the same with his teenage years too. Luckily, before becoming a young adult, Joseph made the decision that he wanted to be a Private Investigator. After joining the career, on one of his investigations, he met Charlotte Bethea, and later phoned her up, and they got to know eachother. Eventually they were dating, and soon Joseph proposed and they were swiftly married. Soon Charlotte fell pregnant and gave birth to a daughter named Karen. A few years later, they had another daughter named Amy. During this time, Joseph was working his way up the Investigator Career ladder, trying to complete his lifetime goal of solving 35 cases, which he managed to do before both his daughters were teenagers. While they were teenagers, he also reached the top of his career, and retired from solving cases, instead doing low level police work and using his weekly stipend to live by. He was rather close to his oldest daughter Karen, however, with his youngest, things were not quite the same. He managed to maintain a high relationship with his wife until her death of old age, where at which point he began dating a local woman named Cristy Battle, until his own death of old age.
